Divisional Play This year the league was split into two divisions, the American and National Division. The Orioles are currently in the American Divsion, with the Indians, Brewers, Astros and Red Sox. The National League consists of the Cubs, Yankees, Padres, Braves, Nationals and Pirates. |
Wood batsThis is the first year the league has gone to wood bats. It has brought a different brand of baseball to the league. There have been fewer home runs and more strategy has been used.
